Product Description:

Peri-Strips Dry is comprised of two vacuum-dried strips of biological tissue derived from bovine pericardium and manufactured with Synovis Surgical Innovations' exclusive Apex Processing®. This procedure enhances the intrinsic elasticity and strength of bovine pericardium with improved biocompatibility, performance and safety. It is mounted on a plastic unit that facilitates easy application of the strips to the stapler. Peri-Strips Dry is used with PSD Gel, an adhesive hydrogel designed to create a temporary bond between the strips and the surfaces of the surgical stapler.

Peri-Strips Dry® with Veritas® Collagen Matrix

Peri-Strips Dry® with Veritas® Collagen Matrix is a new remodelable product that represents a significant advance in staple line reinforcement technology. To develop this product, Synovis built on its ten years of buttressing expertise with Peri-Strips products and four years of experience with the Veritas remodelable tissue technology.

Product Description:

Peri-Strips Dry with Veritas is derived from bovine pericardium, a material known for excellent suppleness and strength. Synovis’ patented Veritas remodelable tissue technology maintains these characteristics while producing a product that is extremely biocompatible and acellular.

Peri-Strips Dry with Veritas uses the same convenient, user-friendly delivery mechanism as Peri-Strips Dry. Each unit contains a pair of vacuum-dried bovine pericardium strips delivered in a plastic mounting unit that facilitates easy application of the strips to the stapler loading unit.
