IASGO 2008

During the period 9 – 12 April 2008, took place at the National Statistics Institute in Bucharest, the 10^th Symposium of the IASGO Romanian Section (The International Association of Surgeons, Gatroenterologists and Oncologists), as well as the Continuous Education Course of the IASGO Romanian Section – with the theme Radical Surgery in Gastric Cancer – and the First ISSO Course (International Course of Oncologist Surgery) – with the theme Hepatic-Bilious-Pancreatic Malignant Tumours.

Among the themes approached during the presentations were: esophagus cancer, gastric cancer, small intestine cancer, liver cancer, rectum cancer, and pancreatic cancer.

The event included conferences, live transmissions, latest medical techniques’ debates, continuous education courses, as well as a specialised medical exhibition.

Rombiomedica – one of the major sponsors of the event - participated with a presentation stand, as part of the medical exhibition.
