About Us

 We were born in 1996 and we grew together with the Romanian market for medical technologies and disposables. For more than 10 years now, we have met the doctors’ expectations by providing them with solutions meant to simplify their choice in the operating room. During this period, we have developed a wide range of products and suppliers, and being specialised in supplying disposable medical devices and medical equipment for hospitals’ operating rooms and intensive care units.

Between 1996 and 2007 the main category of supplied products was represented by surgical sutures, Rombiomedica being distributor for the main world leading suture producers and also producing and distributing its own suture (Biositex) and succeeding in closing contracts with the most important  emergency hospitals, cardiology centres and universities, municipality and county hospitals in Romania.

During these 12 years of activity we initiated the promotion and introduction of mechanical suture techniques in surgery, such as the LigaSure technology for vessel sealing and radio frequency through the ForceTriad electro surgical energy platform. Additionally we concentrated on supplying medical technologies and equipments for laparoscopic and minimal invasive surgery.

Our main concern is to meet and to anticipate the doctors’ needs, although they are in a constant change. Caring for health represents for us supplying the best quality products, with the best price vs. quality, but also identifying the adapted solutions doctors need to solve the more and more complex problems of the medical process.

At the same time we have tried to promote the cost – benefit, cost – efficiency and cost - supportability analysis in the medical process and in the use of the latest medical technologies, thus improving the quality and the security of the surgical act and decreasing the total costs per treated patient.\

Our wish is to meet our potential partners’ demands and expectations, as well as to continually create solid, professional relationships and partnerships. From these, our partners and we will permanently learn along with the continuous progress of the medical field and technologies.
